SF-MOH200 Silanol-functionalized fluid

α-Methyl-ω-hydroxy-polydimethylsiloxane products are a range of silanol-functionalized fluids with varying viscosities and silanol contents for handling fillers and as anti-structuring additives in high-viscosity silicone rubber and room temperature vulcanizing (RTV) silicone rubber formulations. Low viscosity grades can be used as reactive diluents for high viscosity polymers to adjust the overall viscosity of the formulation. α-Methyl-ω-hydroxy-polydimethylsiloxane products are pure and do not contain any plasticizers or additives. Curing of this series of products can be achieved with all commonly used condensation crosslinkers such as alkoxysilanes, oxime silanes and acetoxysilanes in combination with catalysts, where dibutyltin dilaurate or stannous octoate have proven to be effective catalysts for such reactions.
